Used engine-oil filters are listed for collection. This does not establish acceptance of air filters or gasoline fuel filters.
Free collection applies to eligible program materials. Other items in a mixed load may have separate charges. Local quantity limits need confirmation.
Before you go
- Ask staff how to contain used filters and any residual oil for drop-off.
- Confirm unusual filter types before travelling; do not put oily filters in the food-can recycling stream.
- Use original or clearly labelled containers with tight lids; keep products separate and ask staff for help if unsure.
- Call ahead about quantities, container sizes and collection capacity; arrange commercial or bulk returns separately.
- This drop-off is at the landfill on Landfill Road, not the Third Avenue packaging depot.
Apr 16–Oct 15: Mon–Fri 8–5:30; Sat–Sun 9–4:30. Oct 16–Apr 15: Mon–Fri 8–4:30; Sat–Sun 9–4. Closed statutory holidays. Local Pacific time.
