Before you go
- Call the scale shack before visiting: ask separately about 1 lb camping cylinders, 20 lb BBQ tanks and larger cylinders.
- Confirm the fee, quantity limit and whether expired, rusty or partly full tanks are accepted.
- Keep propane cylinders out of curbside garbage and recycling. Do not puncture, remove valves or deliberately vent gas to prepare a tank for disposal; ask the operator for instructions.
